“Jewelry for the Home”
When I was a senior in high school applying to college, I couldn’t decide on whether to major in art or math. My mother dissuaded me from majoring in art - “Don’t be an artist - you’ll never be able to support yourself.” So I dutifully went into the sciences, but remained fascinated with glass and glassblowing in particular. With my husband’s encouragement, I went back to school at age 41 to learn how to blow glass - and never looked back. I took classes in glassblowing, fusing, casting and lampworking.
I make “Jewelry for the Home” - stainless steel and lampworked/fused glass items for kitchen and entertaining.
